COMPOSITE OF EARLY LAGO COLONY |
|
THE PHOTO ABOVE IS FROM DON
ROSBOROUGH THE ONE BELOW WAS PUT TOGETHER FROM PHOTOS FOR THE "MYSTERY
SCRAPBOOK" |
THE PHOTO BELOW SHOWS COLORADO POINT,
THE ONE ABOVE DOES NOT. THE PHOTO BELOW DOES NOT HAVE A FENCE
AROUND THE "TENNIS COURTS" |
WHICH I BELIEVE ARE NEXT TO THE
ORIGINAL "PAN-AM / ESSO CLUB". I BELIEVE THE LOWER PHOTO IS A
LITTLE OLDER THAN THE TOP ONE. |
|
NOTE THE LACK OF ANY VEGETATION IN
BOTH PHOTOS, NO TALL CACTUS WHICH SEEM TO TAKE HOLD AFTER THE COLONY |
WAS REMOVED. THE LACK OF
VEGETATION IS PROBABLY DO TO LACK OF ANY SOIL WHICH WAS BROUGHT IN LATER
BY EMPLOYEES |
SO THEY COULD PLANT GARDENS AND
PLANTS AROUND THE HOUSES. BOTH PHOTOS SEEM TO BE TAKEN FROM THE
SAME LOCATION. |
NO SHIPS ARE SEEN IN THE BIG LAGOON
OR OFF SHORE IN THE LOWER PHOTO. |
|
THE NEXT PHOTO IS A COMPOSITE PUT
TOGETHER BY LES SEEKINS. |
|
THE TWO PHOTOS WERE PUT TOGETHER AND
ONE WAS DARKER THAN THE OTHER, THE JOINT CAN BE SEEN WHERE THE
DARK AND LIGHT LINE MEETS. |
